The Multiple-Target-Interface

The multiple target interface is an abstract interface for in- and output of application data on a variety of target units and in many different target formats.

	Text formats Text (.txt) Comma separated (.csv) Print formats PDF PCL Web formats HTML XML/XSLT Office formats BIFF (.xls) Comma separated (.csv)

The target unit and target format don't have to be defined until document output. Hence output on different units is possible.

MTI is realized by a collection of very easily applicable functions. It can be used in any iSeries ILE language.
